Our aims and objectives

  • To provide women and children with immediate access to support and counselling
  • To provide education services for disadvantaged communities around dealing with violence against women and children
  • To run a training programme for women that address their specific needs and to empower them to participate in the process of individual and community development
  • To impart both practical and theoretical skills through training courses including:
  • Analytical skills that assist trainees in understanding and interpreting gender issues and the socio-economic and political context of violence
  • Counselling skills that equip trainees with the knowledge and confidence to help survivors of violence
  • Workshop and training skills that enables trainees to do training courses and workshop themselves
  • Communication and leadership that develop capacity of trainees to participate in public education and raising awareness
  • To establish a permanent Counselling and training centre
